The comic book focuses on the story of Tara Williams, a highschool teacher and a daughter of a former domestic worker from Jamaica and Alvin Reyes, a son of a caregiver who recently arrived in Alberta to reunite with his mom after a long separation. Their stories intersect with different stories of migrations of different people from different nations. It also tried to provide a lens of the hardships of settlement and getting accepted in their new home. The book was published in 2018 by Migrante Alberta.
